ARTIST SPACE

The non-profit gallery super+ CENTERCOURT, centrally located in Maxvorstadt, opened its doors in May of 2014, and since has served as an experimental exhibition space for local, national, and international artists. Previously an open passage way on a corner of a residential building, it is now a public area interacting with the boundaries between indoor and outdoor spaces: it is easily recognized by its two wall-sized windows. In this sense it is destined to remain a place for encounters and exchange, between pedestrians and exhibitions, artists, curators, and art enthusiasts. The gallery represents the collectives’ interest in artistic confrontation beyond established boundaries.

Rosalie Wiesheu and Viktoria Wilhelmine Tiedeke curated the gallery from 2014 until 2018, until Sophie Charlotte Bombeck took over the position in 2019
